Our security program is continuously monitored and independently checked. Where a formal report is public, we link the live source rather than paraphrase it, so you can verify it yourself.

SOC 2 Type II

In progress
Our SOC 2 Type II examination is underway with an independent auditor (2026). We will publish the report here when the examination concludes. We do not describe ourselves as SOC 2 certified until it does.

HIPAA safeguards

Protected health information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-restricted, and every access to a health record is logged. We operate under HIPAA administrative, physical, and technical safeguards.

Licensing & accreditation

Sidebar Benefit Advisors is a licensed insurance agency operated by Ithaca Health. Our advisors are individually licensed insurance producers.

  • Licensed insurance agency. Texas Department of Insurance agency license #3518791, with producer licensing in the states we serve.
  • Individually licensed advisors. Each advisor holds a state producer license and carries a National Producer Number (NPN), shown on their materials.
  • BBB Accredited Business. We are accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
